Leave it to street style star, Lisa Aiken, to do fall floral dresses the right way. We love her flowery frock paired with a blazer in a deep autumnal hue that gives us all the fall shopping inspiration we need. Whether you’re a mini, midi, or maxi dress fan, you can easily work a fall dress into your wardrobe rotation by pairing it with everything from combat boots to strappy sandals. Add a faux fur coat or cozy cardigan for bonus cold-weather style points.

I've had a tab open with this mixed print floral dress for the past week, but I've been hesitant to pull the trigger. Mainly because I feel like it's fall (and soon winter) and that I should invest in pieces for the new season, but after seeing this street style look I posted yesterday, I think I'll scoop it up after all. I'm thinking of pairing it with croc-embossed knee-high boots and a blazer. Shop all the pieces from my ideal look below.

A parade of colored turtlenecks in rainbow brights are taking fall fashion by storm, and we’re totally on board. We love this street style look showing off a bold yellow sweater and are dreaming of all the other shades we need to add to our shopping carts for the season. Wear with denim or basic black trousers to let your colorful turtleneck pop, or dare to pair it with an equally exciting plaid skirt, as seen on the streets of Milan.

We saw statement eyewear of all shapes at Milan fashion week, but the real winner was '70s-style sunglasses. Model and influencer, Xenia Adonts, channeled her inner modern Jackie O in this look of neutral heels, blazer, and satin skirt, perfectly accessorized by oversized sunglasses with a decidedly '70s feel. We love hiding behind vintage-inspired frames that take us back to a time where the women were chic and the lenses were large.

You may already be storing away your sandals, but hold off on your vibrant floral print dresses. All you need to transition these into fall is a great pair of heeled boots. Just take a look at this fashion-forward street style outfit—The bright orange puff sleeve dress and snakeskin knee-high boots make quite the statement. If you need some added warmth complete the look with a sleek blazer, long coat, or leather jacket.

Pleated pants are one of the season’s hottest trends and there are endless pairs to choose from. Be on the lookout for pleated trousers in leather, wool, and denim and wear them cropped, cuffed, with heels, or tucked into boots. There are no rules, other than wearing them on repeat. Beyond casual knitwear and essential turtlenecks, this fall we're looking ahead to the updated, modernized versions of the power suit. They come in the form of oversized blazers and short sets, vivid hues, wide-leg silhouettes, and angular, asymmetric shapes. If you want to get ahead of the trend, look to these options for 2019.

Sneakers will never go out of style, but they’re trending for fall big time. This season’s sneakers are bulkier than ever, as we see in Alexandra Guerain’s chunky Balmain kicks in Paris. We love how she dressed up her sporty shoes with black leather pants, a black blazer, and futuristic sunglasses. Don’t limit yourself to wearing your athletic shoes to the gym—take your style cues from Alexandra and pair them with a dress or skirt for an upscale take on fall’s biggest footwear trend. Shop our favorite sneaker picks below.

Do you feel that? Brisk mornings and even colder nights have arrived, and it's time to get your layering down. Spotted at Copenhagen fashion week was another outfit idea we're going to recreate this season. Take your favorite neutral trousers and tuck in a subtly striped button-down shirt. Layer a simple white t-shirt underneath, then add high heeled sandals and you're all set.

Fashion It girls can now overpack to their heart’s content with the growing love for the oversized tote bag. We love the effortless way that stylist, Pernille Teisbaek, pairs her giant tote with a simple pair of leather shorts, a sleeveless turtleneck, and sleek heeled sandals. We love a glam moment and no one proves this better than Karlie Kloss in Saint Laurent. We love Karlie’s chic black and white look featuring our favorite trend for evening—the sequin jacket. Her street style look of a sparkly blazer paired with leather pants can work just as well with a dress or denim. Add a pair of heels or boots and you’re set for wherever the evening takes you. Shop our favorite sequin jackets below.

Let's face it: we all get stuck in a styling rut. The most common (and pairable) faux fur coats come in deep browns, camels and rich black hues, but that can get a bit repetitive, especially if you're a true fashion lover. For winter this year, stock up on something a bit brighter. Some of the coolest coats of now come in pinks, reds, vivid blues, and seafoam greens. Shop our favorite bright faux furs below.

The most elevated women of the sartorial set meet in one place: Paris. With the amount of inspiration coming in in the form of street style shots, the options for fall and winter are endless. Spotted on the streets outside of a show was one beauty who took patent leather trousers to a cool new level. Tuck your simple black knit into a pair of these pants, then add a fuzzy neutral sweater around your neck––prep school style. She elevated the entire look with oversized sunglasses and black strappy sandals.
