Even though spring is just around the corner, it's still cold as hell outside. Here's some inspiration on ways to wear your favorite striped top or dress until warmer weather arrives.
Since first seeing Arielle Vandenberg on Vine, I've been obsessed with her hair. She always has perfect beachy textured waves and the best balayage / ombré hair color mix.
After months of trying to track down MAC's Velvet Teddy Lipstick I managed to pick it up in Duty free on the way to Dublin at Birmingham Airport just over a week ago. I've been in love with this lipstick every since and have worn it most days. It seems that so many of you are looking for a cheaper way to recreate Kylie Jenner's nude lipstick.
I've been looking on the high-street for months now for a matte nude which I loved and didn't have to buy another MAC one as they're expensive! A few days ago I noticed the lip liners in Topshop and oh my god watching this against Velvet Teddy you can't tell the difference between them. The best bit? This liner is only £5!
I think lip liners are so important when finishing off your make up look. When I line my lips, I tend to do it all over my lip (not just the outside) and then top it off with one of my favourite nudes from MAC. My current favourite nude lipsticks from MAC are Velvet Teddy, Faux and Honey Love.
As you can see from the swatches, this lip liner and Velvet Teddy are VERY similar. I couldn't tell the difference for ages after applying them on my hands. The one on the left is the lip liner and on the right is Velvet Teddy. If you're looking for a perfect dupe without buying the Lipstick for £15.50, Definitely pick up this liner it's only £5! I would use the lip liner all over the lip to create the perfect Kylie Jenner lip. What's better is if you're a student and have your student card you can save a further 50p! Every little helps right?!
What do you think of this Velvet Teddy dupe? Will you be picking up this lip liner on your next spree in Topshop?
I have a bad habit of sticking to the same coat, scarf and boots in the winter, so I've been looking for ways to mix things up a bit. Here's a little inspiration I put together for staying warm without sacrificing style.
