How I Came To Love And Embrace My Hair

Oh, the long, complicated relationship we have with our hair. Since I was little, I wanted nothing more than straight, frizz-free tresses. It wasn’t until recently that I began to appreciate my hair and embrace its waviness. The more I reflect on it, the more I realize just how much my hair means to me. It's offered me protection when I’ve felt like hiding, given my confidence and mood a boost, especially after a fresh cut or color, and served as an accessory of sorts that completes all of my looks. Through thick and thin thinning, no matter the color, the style, or the insane knots, my hair has always been there for me. And, it’s with all this in mind that I have come to truly love it.
